Take The 10 Dart Challenge
The main challenge here is to get the highest score with 10 darts and help raise money for charity at your local club or pub.
As we like to see a variation of skills, there are different challenges, all of which involve 10 darts being used in each visit to the oche.
A. Round The Clock. It doesn't matter in which order the numbers are hit, as long as as they are on the board when a player leaves it.
Because there are players capable hitting numbers 1 to 10 in just 10 darts, if a player hits a double, the next number is jumped (for instance, if a double 1 is scored, the player's next number to aim for is 3 and not the expected number 2). Similarly, if a player is going for 1 and hits treble 1, the next number to aim for is number 3 etc.. Players decide if they want to play from 1-20 or 20 down to 1. A bullseye can count as any number.
B. Total score. Add all the scores of each dart together. It becomes more of a challenge if no more than 3 darts can be of a particular weight.
C. Doubles & Trebles only. There are 2 points for each double and 3 points for every treble, 2 points for a bullseye and 1 point for the ring by the bullseye.

We Have A Winner
The very first winner of the 10 dart challenge, at Romford Snooker Club on Thursday 2nd July 2026 was Evelyn Clements in a knockout version involving 6 players.
The highest score by any player was 204, also by Evelyn Clements.
Though this was a trial, the aim is to be used to raise money for charities and it worked well. We would love to hear if any other club or pub wants to take on this challenge so we can put up the scores othis ewbsite.
