Add something extra to your usual pool game by taking on our challenges and having a fun charity night.

Sport Romford want to trial a variation of pool using a points system that will hopefully encourage plenty of trick shots and have the first champion of the world from our home town!

If your pub or club has a pool table, you can take part and that's pretty much it.It will take plenty of practice before people get used to the new rules before we can promote it elsewhere.As there are no changes to the accepted rules of the game, only the scoring, it should come along quite quickly changes. The most basic scoring system goes as follows:

1 point for straight pot

2 points for a plant where a ball is potted or doubling a shot where a ball is potted.

3 points if a player pots two balls in a single shot (including the break) or potting the black at the end of the game.

There are no points for any fouls, unless an opposition player's ball is potted and that player is given the point. A point is only given otherwise if no foul is committed.
